I'm definitely excited that the tattoo is finally finished. When it was all said and done it took 6.5 hours... but it was worth every uncomfortable minute.
The tail and face, especially the eye, look darker and redder then they really will be because of blood/irritation... the eye is actually white. I'll post another shot in a few weeks when its all healed up.

I've never under tattoos, I confess, but this one is really spectacular.
Thank you! :-)
I always think of my tattoos as the outward expression of my inner-self. Just like I want my house decorations, my clothes, etc to fit me... I'm decorating my body to reflect the inner me as well.
It really is one of the nicest totoos I have seen. Like you, Wray, I am not compelled to tatoo my body, but I can appreciate them on others. In honesty, when they are on necks, faces and even hands and wrists, I can't appreciate even the nice ones, but I like where you have yours Meg (and Drew and Trav and Jim). Anyone else?
Really beautiful tat Meegs. I passed in and out of that "stage" fairly quickly but understand the allure. I'm looking forward to the day when tattoos are easily replaceable. As I move through life I find it's not that I don't want my tattoo. I just want a different one. What I have now no longer expresses the inner me like it did when I got it.
Very cool... like Jim, I would like to be able to have them morf into something different every couple years
