I love keb mo (Kevin Morris)...been listening to him for a couple years, thanks to WXPN. I've heard a couple interviews with him on "Live at the World Cafe" and he seems like a really cool guy, too. Very humble, smart, nice person.
What do you know about him as a person? I just know some of the music. He seems very young for having made all those records, and he even sounds old, don't you think?
I don't really know much about him, except he grew up in south LA and was very influenced by Muddy Waters and that genre of music. In his pictures, he doesn't look old at all...thirty something. But that can't be. I think his first album was released in 1980, so unless that was while he was attending elementary school, I imagine he is more like 40 something. He must be doing something right to look like that or maybe it is trick photography :-)
Oh, and it is Kevin Moore, not Morris...sorry.
