Morgan and I have a beach house in Duck, NC, for August vacation week. We had debated Iceland and Quebec and other places, then realized we really wanted to just kick back rather than travel. I love the Outer Banks. I have convinced my new friend Susie to join us.

I'm definitely a little jealous. Trav and I went to the Outter Banks for spring break one year with 10 other friends. It was a great week, and we loved the area. We also have good friends that live there (perm. res.), so if you hit up a surf shop and there is someone working there named Chad (who happens to be amazingly tall), tell him Travis and Megan say Hi!
Sus will be joining you huh? Inquiring minds want to know, but either way, that should be fun...
Oooo, I am so jealous. Drew and Megan and I stayed in a beautiful beach house in Duck with some other friends. Just being near the ocean is heaven for me. I am sure that it is my subconscious harkening back to my childhood. That initial whiff of salt air is amazing. So, take a big whiff for me and have fun!
I remember Ocrecoke well (except I can not spell it) when we went there with you Wray many years ago. Have a great time, and have some shark steaks for me.
